SHARMILA GODDESS
The school’s complete name is Sharmila Goddess Seaside Mission Matric Hr. Sec. School. The name expresses the pride of being on Coromandel coast and the mission of doing the best with the best of resources especially humans. The watertight perfection of the triangular points viz Management – Faculty – Students have been making this school their first choice for the public. Sharmila Goddess has been fortunate to be deserved for its Rank one position in Nagappattinam district since its inception.
History:
Sharmila Goddess started its service on June 5th of 1990 with the classes LKG, UKG and I and with 21 smart students. The next generation of those students are occupying benches now a days. The school got its Government recognition in 1996, started the first batch of SSLC in 1999 and the first batch of +2 in 2009. Silver Jubilee of this school was celebrated in a grand manner in 2015 in which the Founder and the Principal of this school was rewarded with TN Dr. Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award. 2020 -21 is the 31st age of the school.
